Six years ago, I was presented with an opportunity to join a company that was destined to shake the foundation of the IT industry. That company would introduce a series of disruptive technologies that would change the world of IT as we know it. That company was VMware. I joined VMware because I wanted to be a part of that disruptive change, and influence that type of change to the world of IT. Since coming onboard, I’ve been part of the Professional Services Organization, and I’ve had the privilege to work and collaborate with some brilliant and remarkable people across the entire company.

I’ve throughly enjoyed my time in the Professional Services Organization, from the days of delivering training to partners, and customers, to the short and long days and nights of architecting, designing, assessing, and reviewing vSphere and vCloud infrastructures.

Now, I’ve been presented with an incredible opportunity within VMware, one that allow me to be part of a team comprised of an extremely talented, passionated, and dedicated group of individuals. To be part of a team with the likes Duncan Epping, Frank Denneman, Cormac Hogan, William Lam, Alan Renouf, and others it’s privilege and great opportunity within itself. As of Monday, I will be joining the Cloud Infrastructure Technical Marketing Team at VMware. As part of the team my area of responsibilities will be primarily around Storage Virtualization technologies working very closely with product teams and the R&D organization.

I will be able to focus on educating and enabling VMware customers, partners, and communities while at the same time serve as a set of extra eyes and ears for  product teams and engineers. This will allow me to influence the direction of products and features on behalf of customer and their needs. This is something that I’m extremely passionated about and I’m looking forward to it.

I want to express my deepest gratitude to the people that made this great opportunity possible for me, and to the people who offered me the opportunity.

I can’t believe I’m saying this but, I can’t wait to got to work on Monday.

Again, Thank You all Very Much!
